The Red Lion, Bushey, is in the heart of Bushey village. When it comes to great pub food and drink, you’ll be hard pushed to beat us. We have SKY Sports and ESPN (including an outside TV) and a great array of activities to keep you entertained during the week, like our lucky-13 quiz every Sunday. The Red Lion is a traditional pub, so it’s proud to serve a great combination of lager, cider and real ale. Our customers are at the forefront of everything we do; therefore, we pride ourselves on being the people’s pub.

Thai Sunset is a family run restaurant specialising in authentic Thai cuisine based on Bangkok style but with influences from other areas of Thailand. The restaurant seats almost 100 people and also has an outside seating area when the weather is fine. We have a weekday lunch special at £5.95 and a Sunday lunch special at £9.95, which is popular with families. At all times we serve our a la carte menu, which has nearly 100 dishes. On Mother's Day and Father's Day we have a very well liked buffet. Our wine list is very varied and has selections from most wine producing countries. Being a large restaurant we are able to cater for large parties and regularly welcome groups of 20 plus.

It has a large collection of works and articles relating to Sir Hubert von Herkomer RA and his world-renowned Art School. Also on show is the Lucy Kemp-Welch Memorial Trust Collection, including many of Lucy's superb paintings of horses. ushey's social history is shown through displays on life in the village both in time of peace and war, some of the many locally made products and historic maps. The Friends of Bushey Museum has over 800 members making it one of the largest and most successful in the country! It supports the museum through fundraising activities and have a varied programme of meetings and events. You can join the friends online through the website or in the museum, annual subscription starts from as little £9.50! The museum's education service offers a wide range of interactive experiences for primary schools. Two of the most popular sessions are 'The Victorian Experience' and 'World War Two' experience. North Bushey Pre-school is a BRAND NEW privately run pre-school opening September 2012! We will be situated in the grounds of the newly built Highwood Primary School. The premises is currently ‘Highwood Primary school Nursery’ therefore it is a lovely purpose built stand-alone building with an enclosed garden. North Bushey Pre-school welcomes all children from the age of 2 to 4 years. Sessions • Morning sessions from 8.45am to 11.45am. • Afternoon session from 12.15pm to 3.15pm. • Lunchtime club from 11.45am to 12.15pm. • All day sessions may also be available.
