The Orient Express
Until the 1950s, our seventeenth century building housed Bradford on Avon’s last blacksmith. Horses were shod on the ground floor and the forge produced many of the iron railings which are a feature of our town. The engineering connection continued after the blacksmith retired and the first Marcos sports car was built here.
Today, in these historical surroundings, you can enjoy modern Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese dishes – all freshly prepared and made to order.
Some dishes have been specially created by our head chef as a fusion of the best from the Orient. For example, one of our most popular choices, Padet Noodles, blends stir fried rice noodles with roasted chilli paste. The resulting taste is a combination of the famous Pad Thai and Urban noodles.
And steak lovers should try ‘Weeping Tiger’, a well-seasoned sirloin served with a delicious side dip so hot it’s said that it even makes tigers weep.
There are many more interesting taste sensations for you to discover – for vegetarians and vegans too. We pride ourselves on the quality and value for money we offer.
