The Brackley Amenity Society was formed in September 1962. It aimed to encourage:- *high standards of architecture and planning in Brackley. *public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the town and its surroundings. *and the preservation, development , improvement and beautification of features of general public amenity or historic interest. In the post war period a lot of buildings which avoided the air raids were nevertheless demolished in the name of progress with no thought of their intrinsic merit. The first secretaries of the Amenity Society were the architects, Mr. and Mrs Morris, Banbury Road ,who felt strongly, as did many architects and people, that this should be better managed and considered. In April 2009 the Brackley Amenity Society was amalgamated with the Brackley Residents Action Group (B.R.A.G.) with Peter Joyce elected as Chairman. Brackley Residents Association is a voluntary organisation.

Brackley Tennis Club is a self-funded, private members club. The Club is managed by a Committee. Club sessions are for adult members and invited intermediates and juniors. These sessions provide an opportunity for competitive (but friendly) play. Come along, meet some people and enjoy the tennis. Session times are: Brackley Tennis Club is proud that we probably have the largest number of Junior memberships (13 and under) in the county. Coaching is mainly held on Saturday morning but full details can be obtained from our Head Coach, Peter Cowley, who will give you all the information you require. His mobile number is 07539 244155.

This is the official facebook page of Brackley library. We are open 7 days a week 9am til 6pm monday to friday. We are manned by staff from 10am onwards. The library hosts a wide array of books available for purchase and loan, DVDs for sale and loan. There are genres of books anf DVDs for every taste! Books are avaiable for loan for 3 weeks and can be renewed up to 20 times. Dvds are on loan for 1 week. Becoming a member is free so there is no reason not to join! Brackley library is open to all so please get involved, we have lots of activities, events and classes for adults, young adults and children alike! Events will be updated and posted on the page regularly so keep your eyes peeled for lots of exciting activities!
