Aspley Guise are a friendly, small village cricket club situated just outside Milton Keynes. We compete in the Morrants four counties cricket league on a Saturday with the 1st team in Div 2 and the 2nd team in Div 6. On Sundays we compete in the Beds Sunday League. 2011 saw change of Saturday leaderships in both the 1st and 2nd team. Matthew Funge took over from Simon Smithers and had a pretty successful first term at the helm, winning 10 and losing 4 and also boasting an unbeaten away record for the season. Mike Herrick took over from Ian Foll finishing mid table with a respectable 6 wins throughout the season. On a Sunday under the guidance of Dave Quick, Aspley finished 2nd in Div 4 and therefore gained yet another promotion. After a rocky start Aspley won 10 and lost 5. Whch could have all been different at various points throughout the season. Aspley also received the most bonus points in the division. For 2011 we also have an unbeaten 20/20 record.
