This then led on to selling tropical fish and, in 2004, marine fish and corals.

The 'new look' Crowthorn Pub was taken over by my partner John Bates in 2010. Since his premature death in June 2012 I have taken on the task of continuing his legacy. My name is Maxine and I am the new Licensee. This is a lovely, warm and friendly community local, with a beautiful beer garden. The pub is situated on the corner of Crowthorn Rd and Ryecroft St near Hills biscuit factory. King Kombat Systems is a new Martial Arts System designed by Jon King to cover a wide range of combat skills and techniques including, self defence, padwork techniques and drills, throws and takedowns, locks and submissions and free hand combinations. King Kombat Systems will improve co-ordination, increase power, increase speed, reaction time and improve general fitness. The syllabus is designed so that a student learns both fighting stances at early grades in order to maximise the students own personel ability. We also run a junior training program which helps develop the children in a structured and fun environment. The Dojo is fully matted for safety and provides all training equipment.
