ILFRACOMBE is well known as a Victorian seaside town but the Yacht Club was only formed in 1962 by a small group of like-minded individuals, to promote the art of sailing and motor cruising in the Bristol Channel. IYC offers a full program of sailing and social events for members and non-members, locals or visitors to the area, and you are assured of a warm welcome whether arriving by land or by sea!

Ilfracombe Musical Productions stages an annual theatre show, usually during Ilfracombe Victorian Celebration week every June, to raise funds for local good causes.
