Cobb’s Mill studio is a brand new state of the art recording facility run by producer/engineer/multi-instrumentalist Jake Skinner. The studio is set in the heart of the idyllic Sussex countryside on the site of the historic Cobb's Mill, conveniently located just 10 miles from the musical mecca of Brighton. Our complex features 2 spacious live rooms and a control room full of quality analogue and digital equipment, as well as a kitchen area, plenty of parking space, and free WIFI. We have a large ever-expanding collection of industry-standard microphones, outboard, and backline and we are confident that we can get the sound you are after, whatever style of music you play! We dedicate ourselves fully to each project, and we want to be as proud of the end result as we hope you will be. There is nothing worse than listening to your finished recording and hearing things you dislike or wishing you had done things differently. That is why we like to get everything right in the first place. From the tone of your instrument, to your performance, song arrangements, and the subtleties of the mix, Jake will do everything he can to help you achieve the sound you hear in your head! We offer everything from demos to release-ready professional album productions, and can tailor our sessions to suit your budget.
