Save M&S Rhyl from closure

High Street, Rhyl ,
It's been there for 81 years and is the best-loved shop in Rhyl Town Centre. Now Marks & Spencers is planning to leave. It's the end of an era. We are worried about the effect it will have on the already decimated Rhyl Town Centre and can't imagine our town without an M&S. Plus there are elderly people who shop there every day, see their friends there and will be too infirm to travel to the new store in Prestatyn. M&S has made millions out of Rhyl in the past decades - we're asking them to rethink their business plans to keep the heart pumping in our town.

Ribchester Village Hall

Ribchester Village Hall

Riverside, Church Street, Ribchester, Preston ,
Lying at the heart of our tranquil village - by the banks of the River Ribble and adjacent to St Wilfrid's Church - Ribchester Village Hall is a popular community location. The Hall is frequently used as an event venue or meeting place by community groups, schools, businesses and individuals; both locally and from the wider community. The Hall's facilities include a large main hall with stage, back room and kitchen. We have recently undertaken extensive Renovation work in the main hall as part of a larger, grant-funded improvement project. This project, when complete, will see all of our facilities upgraded and extended. Ribchester is an historic Lancashire village - located in the picturesque Ribble Valley and close to both Blackburn and Preston. We are best known for our Roman heritage and the famous Roman Museum, right next door to the Village Hall. But there's plenty more to see, learn and do around the village. Why not visit our website (www.ribchestervillagehall.org.uk) and download the History Trail brochure on our History page? Anyone is welcome to hire our hall - from just 1 hour to a full day; whether you're planning a regular session or a school trip (and you're simply looking for somewhere dry and warm for the children to have lunch). Simply contact us to check availability and prices. Please note: Very limited parking is available outside the Hall for elderley or disabled visitors. However, we recommend that all other visitors use the main village carpark (next to the recreation ground) to avoid congestion.

Richmond upon Thames Hate Crime Community Forum (3HCF)

c/o Community Safety Partnership, 3rd Floor, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham ,
3HCF is the Hate Crime, Harassment and Hostility Community Forum in Richmond upon Thames. We were established by the Community Safety Partnership in 2010 to bring together Council, police, voluntary and community organisations and local residents to reduce the impact of Hate Crime, Harassment and Hostility in Richmond upon Thames. We meet quarterly with speakers and discussion on topical issues. We provide an opportunity for networking and partnership working. Whilst the Forum does not directly provide services to victims and witnesses of Hate Crime, Harassment and Hostility, many of our members do, and we can signpost people appropriate support services. The meetings of the 3HCF are open to the public and we encourage any community organisation with an interest in the subject to become members. ANY member of the public who attends is entitled to fully participate in the proceedings.
