Armagh Art Club
Armagh Art Club was established in 1962 and quite a few founder members still belong to the club today.
There have been several venues used for the art clubs meetings, over the years, including rooms in the member’s own homes. At present they meet at St Patricks Trian, Armagh.
There are over fifty members varying in age from teenagers to octogenarians, which, as you can imagine covers, a vast range of tastes. The art club is a cross community activity as the member’s love of art naturally creates a bond.
Because of the large membership, wide ranges of medium are used including, oil, watercolour, pastel, acrylic, gouache and pen and ink. As the artists are local, perhaps you know one of them, indeed you or your property may be the subject of one of their paintings.
