Middlesbrough's Memorable & Famous Characters
Now we all have known (or heard of) the great characters this town has had over the years we have been in existence. But i want to know more about them.
Most of the legends have now passed away (RIP) but there are still a few left even today. If you have a tale to tell of these guys then please share it on here. It can be a story of a fighter, a drinker, a villain or a saint. the funnier the better! And we have had our share of female legends too, let's include these sweet ladies too!
They don't have to be household names. maybe you uncle Tommy did something so ridiculous that it bears mentioning here.
There are thousands of tales of the antics of the people of Middlesbrough. We are famous for our sense of humour, Don't let these storiesj ust die away and remain untold. Don't hide them, ressurect them and let's ALL delight in hearing them. We Boro people renowned for our sense of humour, to let it die away andhave so many stories utold would be a sin.
