Coleford Community Choir was formed in February 2011 in affiliation with Coleford Baptist Church and Forest and Wye Valley Music under the direction of conductor Sam Davis. The choir meets every Wednesday evening from 7pm-9pm at Coleford Baptist Church. We place a big emphasis on the social side of singing in a choir, with regular social events throughout the year. Anyone is welcome to join, regardless of ability or experience - no auditions needed! Although relatively new, we have taken part in and put on a wide variety of events including raising £1000 for charities through concerts and other performances. We also compete annually at Hereford Performing Arts Festival with much success achieving Distinction and Commended awards. Due to our strong links with Coleford Baptist Church we perform in a number of special services throughout the year, however we are not a church choir. We currently have around 30 members, ranging from age 8 to 70+ and are always looking for new members to join us on a Wednesday evening. We are very relaxed - just come along and give us a go.

Coleraine Dog Training Club is Kennel Club registered and managed by dog enthusiasts who have been successful to enough to compete at Crufts (the worlds largest dog show). We want to encourage owners to use positive reinforcement when training their dogs and to most of all enjoy their pet.

The aim of the project is to assist in empowering children and parents within each target area, with the necessary skills and opportunities to improve their quality of life. For example the project’s objectives includes; improving educational attainment and attendance, supporting healthy lifestyles for families, access to training and learning opportunities, helping parents and carers to further develop their parenting skills. Funded by Department of Social Development, this project was set up in April 2010 in collaboration with nine of the schools and nurseries in the Coleraine N. R. areas. The following nine schools are involved in the project - Millburn Primary, Ballysally nursery, Ballysally Primary, St Johns Primary, Killowen primary, Kylemore Nursery, St Josephs, North Coast Integrated College, Coleraine College.
