No More Tears (UK)
No more tears is a voluntary organization in Telford, Shropshire, and we support projects and activities working with children under the age of 25 years old within the Shropshire and thoughout the UK.
We also support a children’s orphanage based in a village near Freetown, capital of Sierra Leone. The orphanage looks after fifty plus children from the age of twelve months to an adult. There are six members of staff consisting of three paid and three volunteers.
These children are from the streets, and the older children are victims of the
long civil war.
The home has no electricity or running water. The only funding is through items and vegetables which are produced and sold down the local market.
No More Tears urgently needs donations to purchase Rice and Maize and other necessary items to give the children a balanced meal.
Funding for education and uniforms so that they can attend a good school.
They need gifts of clothing, books, papers, Pens and pencils, calculators and other classroom equipment.
Despite their hardship and poverty four children have made it to University.
In order for them to receive power they need solar panels.
They also need a few barrels to collect rain water.
