If you require them to be hung, please provide coat hangers. Regular service or one off. If the pile is never ending I can come to your home. Please feel free to contact even at short notice.

NEW BRUTON PRODUCTION The Women of Troy by Euripides (Translated by Don Taylor) is in rehearsal in Bruton, now. From the last acting course we did, a wonderful group has formed, the like of which a professional company would be blessed. The Greek tragedy is about the Trojan women, to be given as slaves after the fall of their city. It is a heart wrenching piece which addresses the plight of women in war. Women of Troy will be on tour in Bruton, Glastonbury and Frome, Autumn 2013.

We are a small informal group of 30 members, like-minded people with an interest in all things arty. We meet once a month for two hours on a Wednesday evening. We try to have a variety of activities, it may be a workshop in painting medium, a demonstration, a lecture or perhaps a discussion. Our speakers and demonstrators come to us from all across South Wales and beyond. Non members are always welcome. However, we do charge a small fee of £1 per person for non members and of course members come free. We also hold an annual open art & craft exhibition in August and details of this, along with an entry form can be obtained from trishwilliams@aol.com or, telephone 07768 125171.

Buckfastleigh Community Choir meets on Wednesdays during term-time, 7.30-9pm, in the vestry of the Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Buckfastleigh. £5 per week. Sandra Smith founded the choir as part of her One Big Sing community singing project in Buckfastleigh, in response to requests from the local community. In February 2012, Issy Garcia became the choir leader.
