HELLO! I'm Gillian... I live by the sea, and I love it. I feel wholeheartedly content when I'm near the ocean. I don't like being landlocked. I have a serious slug phobia. I'm addicted to E45. I can't get enough of avocado, veda bread, coleraine cheddar (mature) and pistachios (not necessarily together, but that wouldn't be a bad thing!). I love to support local artists, businesses and musicians... notably Plain and Simple, Hope & Gloria and David C Clements. I'm married to an awesome fella called Tim (my protege), who brews beer, makes music and would surf all day/everyday if he could. He helped me make 2 kiddies (Olivia & Jude) who rock, and together we try to show them the best in the world, live a life of love and discover who they have been uniquely created to be. At 90% of the weddings I photograph, Tim will be shooting alongside me, normally hanging out with the groom. We make a good duo when it comes to shooting weddings together and our photographic styles compliment each other well!
I gave up a career in physiotherapy to pursue my dream job - and here I am, getting to live that out - documenting one of the most important days for a couple - capturing their nerves, tears, smiles and loves. It couldn't be any more special. Everyone has a story, and if/when you get married, your wedding day is part of that story - a huge part. I want to tell that part of your story and give you life long memories in the form of timeless, honest, heartfelt photographs. Simple.
