A group for all Forres Mechanics fans who live home or away and like to keep up to date with the results and fixtures of the club during the season. Hopefully on match days, updates will keep us all up to date. Forres Mechanics Football Club are a senior Scottish football club currently playing in the Highland Football League. They were founded in 1884 and play at Mosset Park in Forres. Their nickname is the Can-Cans. The club is eligible to play in the Scottish Cup. The club were one of the founder members of the Highland Football League but have only won the championship twice. This was achieved in the 1985/86 and 2011/12 seasons. Founded in & around 2007 by the Ladies Team who went on to success' beyond all expectation to everyone but themselves by being promoted several seasons in a row until 2012 when they decided to take a year off from promotion, but then changed their minds and are now in Division 2. Garforth Mens team have now completed 2 full seasons...in the 1st we got the wooden spoon in the Yorkshire League but as we are fantastic we upped the stakes a bit in our 2nd season by winnning a lovely shiny Yorkshire Cup & by getting promoted to Div 6 South. Also a ever thriving junior section because we are awesome.

Their performances are now legend and folklore, their players are amongst the most distinguished men in all the land. Their story is one of adrenaline, emotion and football. It's a romance, a thriller, an action and a mystery all thrown into one. They are the Garforth Globetrotters and they are........... BIG GAME PLAYERS
