Crafts and Laughs is a new craft night in Carshalton for creative folk who would like to learn new skills and make friends along the way. Held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7-10pm at the lovely little shop 'Interestingly Different'. There is a £6 studio cost which includes free tea and cake! The club works in two ways, you can either: - Turn up with any craft project you are working on and simply crack on with it whilst meeting like minded people and sharing ideas and tips - Purchase one of our weekly craft packs with everything you need to complete the weeks project. Not since the days of Metro has such a central venue offered so much to the music-loving masses! MUSIC Lets not get bogged down with genres, scenes and happenings, lets put it simply... DJ's We'll be throwing in some very special DJ's in the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled for the movers and shakers. Not to mention our own in-house DJ's playing you not only the top tunes and anthems from THEN to NOW, but also the future footstompers! We're not going to give away all the tricks but our aim is to give YOU thee best night you're legally allowed to have! Wigan Athletic Supporters Club has provided a place for a pre and post match drink and travel to Wigan Athletic first team away games for its members for over 15 years. Last season we clocked up over 4500 miles, taking over 4,000 fans to away games and we are prepared for more in the coming season. We are a non profit making organisation and that allows us to keep the costs low for travelling to away games. Members of the Supporters Club enjoy the benefits of the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club Bar, which provides a safe place for fans to go a couple of hours before and after home games and is located behind the South Stand at the DW Stadium. Here food and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) are available, plus the early or late games on Sky Sports will generally be shown in an extremely comfortable and welcoming Suite. We occasionally put on some form of entertainment and invite past and present players in to answer questions and mingle with members. Bookings for away travel, renewing or applying for membership and details of any Supporters Club Events are also available there. Last season the Supporters Club had over 1000 members and every year our support is growing. Join us early this season and qualify for a free limited edition Wigan Athletic Supporters Club metal pin badge. This offer is only available to the first 200 people who join us for the 2011/12 season. Our website (www.wastc.co.uk) is also a great place to come to keep up to date with the latest news, plus an area where you can add your news or viewpoint, all you need to do is register. Every member is issued with their own membership card which will be needed for entry to the Supporters Bar and for booking and travelling on Supporters Club Coaches. Members of WASC have the following entitlements: • Executive coach travel with Mayfair Travel to each Wigan Athletic First Team away fixture • Access to WASC organised events such as Fans Forums or Special Dinners • Travel on specially organised weekend trips to certain away games • Exclusive entry into the Supporters Club Bar behind the South Stand in the DW Fitness Suite. Sky Sports is shown with any early/late kick offs. Beer, soft drinks and food available from the private bar. • All of the above are for members only (subject to availability) Cost of membership: £5.00 for the season. Memberships can be applied for or renewed by calling in the Supporters Bar before home fixtures or by visiting the membership page on our website at www.wastc.co.uk. It is advisable to use the web site to avoid the mad rush on the opening home fixture. The web site is also the best way to keep in touch, both with new information and also to put your views across.
