The Fleece Addingham
Locals disappointed by the closure of the popular Fleece Inn in Addingham needn’t worry! The award winning gastro-pub will be closed for refurbishment, before re-opening its doors under new management on the 1st of December. This will be a welcome return to familiar territory for new owner Craig Minto, who trained in the Devonshire Arms, before working in local Ilkley restaurant, The Farsyde. Craig has a great track record in this sector, having been instrumental in the restoration and running of a string of successful gastro-pubs in Britain and abroad, including The Gray Ox Inn, just an hour away in Liversedge and The Sun Inn, just outside Edinburgh. He has picked up a few accolades along the way with awards such as AA Pub of the Year, Scottish Gastropub of the Year and Marston’s Food Pub of the Year.
The Fleece will bring a new, fine dining experience to Addingham, mixed with comfortable surroundings and real character. The specially tailored menu will be prepared with expertise and imagination using the best available Yorkshire produce. Craig believes in using the freshest possible ingredients and makes everything from scratch, from the pre dinner bread to the ice-cream with your dessert. For those who don’t have time to eat out but love the products on offer The Fleece will also have a delicatessen running alongside the main restaurant. If you find you love the dishes so much that you’d like to recreate them at home the team will also be running cookery courses to inspire both serious foodies and complete novices.
As of Monday 31st the team at The Fleece will be taking enquiries and Christmas bookings at http://www.fleeceaddingham.co.uk/
