Valley Press aims to preserve and update the ideas of 'traditional publishing'; holding on to the design, quality checking and marketing expertise that authors expect from their publishers, whilst utilising modern printing techniques, new promotional methods and digital publishing formats to make the company as dynamic and efficient as possible. Unlike many small publishers, Valley Press derives the majority of its income from book sales, and is run as a full-time business by founder Jamie McGarry.
