United World College of the Atlantic
Every year, the United World College of the Atlantic (Atlantic College) brings together representatives of over 80 different nations for two years of uncommon education. Students are selected through national committees around the globe based on their merit and potential as pioneering global citizens. During their time at the college, they learn from one another whilst grasping a sense of urgency to make a difference in the world they all share.
Out of necessity for a globally recognized curriculum, Atlantic College created the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program alongside the International School of Geneva and the UN School of New York, and later became the first school in the world to solely teach the IB. Atlantic College has maintained a pioneering approach to this education system to this day and also places a strong emphasis on its range of innovative extracurricular initiatives and projects, which truly set the tone of this unique education.
