Cromer High School
Cromer Academy is a secondary school with academy status in Cromer, Norfolk. It has around 517 pupils aged 11–16, a drop in numbers from 715 in March 2006 and is a specialist Sports College Having been a Language College from July 2001 until July 2010. The current headteacher is Penny BignellCromer Academy is coeducational and students are admitted without regard to ability. Priority is given to students from Cromer and the following villages: Gresham, Northrepps, Overstrand, Bessingham, East Beckham, Sustead, Metton, Sidestrand, East Runton, Felbrigg, Aylmerton and Roughton.The school is part of a partnership of schools known as the Cromer Campus, with the neighbouring Suffield Park Infants and Cromer Junior School. Many students go through all three schools in the Campus. In 2006 it reintroduced a House system with vertically integrated form groups with approximately 5 students from every year group in a form. There are 5 forms in a house. The houses are called Blogg , Bailey , Dixon , Heartwell and Reed and are named after Cromer Lifeboats.
