The Centre for Environmental Risks and Futures at Cranfield University is at the forefront of environmental and risk/ futures research and consultancy. Our researchers investigate many aspects of the natural and man-made environment (inc. agriculture, landscape ecology, and pollution) and help our clients to manage risk and prepare for the future. Our research has helped to inform the way government and industry to manage the environment, and has been recognised internationally in the field.
We tackle some of the biggest questions facing the UK environment today, including:
- How do we adapt to climate change?
- How can we make food production more sustainable?
- How can we prepare for the future and ensure the resilience of our environment, society and economy?
- Which environmental risks should we manage first?
