Football and, in particular, Derby County Football Club has the ability to engage people, raising hopes and aspirations, improving the lives of the people of Derbyshire. As a Club we are committed to ensuring that we respond to local needs whilst working strategically in line with regional and national agendas. We all recognise that sport can play a prominent role in addressing major issues such as rising obesity levels, community cohesion, health inequalities, un-employment and educational attainment. Through the diverse range of programmes delivered by our Derby County Community Trust (DCCT), we aim to get people healthier and more active, raise attainment in schools, develop talent pathways, improve community cohesion, and develop and empower coaches and volunteers.

Derby Arts & Crafts Fayre is an opportunity for crafters & makers from across the East Midlands to exhibit & sell their work on a monthly basis. The events are run by Furthest From the Sea and part of CQ Saturdays, a series of events in the Cathedral Quarter. Based upstairs in Derby Market Hall, the fayre features stalls & workshops. Entry for the public is free, although there may be charges for some of the workshops to cover materials. Supported by the Cathedral Quarter, Derby LIVE and Derby City Council.

We are based in Mackworth, Derby and at the Royal Derby Hospital. Services are provided in these venues as well as a variety of other settings in Amber Valley, Erewash, South Derbyshire Dales, South Derbyshire and Derby City. We run fun and exciting child centred services for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25, including youth clubs, holiday play schemes, activity days and health advice. We help children and young people develop a wide range of skills and have fun. We also run support groups for parents and offer individual information, advice and support - and in addition we offer valuable respite care for parents and opportunities to take part in activities.
